Continental Knitting

Continental knitting, also known as left-hand knitting is a common type of knitting, where the yarn to be knit is led with the left hand. The knitted fabric is very similar to fabrics produced with English knitting, but incorporates twisting  the stitches, which makes for tighter loops.
